Tom Thumb "Ludgate Hill" 1970 EP New Zealand Heavy Prog Psych concept

http://www.sergent.com.au/music/tomthumb.html

ULTRA RARE original issue of the only EP by Wellington-based group TOM THUMB. I consider this as one of the holy grails of the KIWI PROGRESSIVE ROCK and HEAVY PSYCH genres. There are some similarities (in style) to ALAN AVON and THE TOY SHOP’s “A Night to Remember”, which appears on the flipside of their horrendously rare and highly prized British single (also from 1970).
The composers of “Ludgate Hill” were a song-writing duo from Wanganui and NOT members of TOM THUMB. They also wrote a psychedelic track called “Time Beyond”, which appears on the flipside of the only single by Wanganui group, THE TOP SHELF.

SIDE 1
1.
