A heartwarming video has emerged of police officers unlocking a car to rescue a puppy on a hot day.<br /><br />The footage, shot last week in Shawnee, KS, USA, captures the moment local police used a rod to unlock the car door and free the the little dog. <br /><br />The filmer can be heard explaining that the temperature is around 32C and that the dog was in the car for at least 40 minutes. <br /><br />The dog was eventually freed and given water.
