Philadelphia police focused on safety, high temperatures on first day of Democratic convention

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross, Jr. said on July 25 that protests during the Democratic National Convention were mostly peaceful, and that police were more concerned about high temperatures in the city.
