MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA — A woman from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is getting locked up for a long time after taking advantage of a minor seven years her junior. <br /> <br />Penn Live reports that soccer player and honor student Paden Tennant was 19 when she got together with a 12-year-old boy. The Justin Bieber fan began having sex with the boy in January 2012, with the abuse continuing over a three-year period. <br /> <br />Police received a report alerting them to the sexual assault in July 2015, a month after Tennant last touched the boy. <br /> <br />She was charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, and unlawful contact with a minor, according to court documents obtained by WHTM. <br /> <br />Tennant turned herself in and made a plea agreement. She was sentenced on Tuesday to four to 12 years in state prison, followed by two years of probation, on one count of child rape. <br /> <br />Tennant will be a lifelong registrant on the sex offenders list.
