MANSEHRA: A peace activist, who has started a countrywide peace mission on his motorcycle, reached here on Sunday. <br /> <br />Shahid Jamil Rana, who started his ‘Ride for Peace’ mission from Lahore on July 13, later left for Balakot. Then, he would proceed to China border using Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road. <br /> <br />“I am alone in this noble mission but sentiments for peace of entire nation are with me and wherever I go people extend me a warm welcome,” said Mr Rana. He said that after visiting Gilgit-Baltistan he would travel to Karachi. <br /> <br />Mr Rana said that his was a mission to present the soft image of country abroad, which he said, was shattered by the scourge of terrorism. “People of Pakistan are hospitable and accommodative for everyone irrespective of cast and creed,” he said. <br /> <br />The motorcyclist said he wanted foreign nationals to visit Pakistan to enjoy its natural and picturesque valleys and four seasons which were rare the world over. “Terrorism has been defeated and now the foreigners should visit Pakistan to enjoy its natural beauty.”
