Nine people were killed and 27 others injured when a coach collided with a truck in east China's Shandong Province on Friday afternoon, local police said. <br /> <br />Following tire blow-out, the truck hit a barrier and crashed into an oncoming coach, causing it to overturn at around 13:30 on the Jinan-Liaocheng expressway, according to Liaocheng City police. <br /> <br />The 49-seat coach was carrying 48 passengers at the time of the collision. Five were declared dead on the spot while four more died on the way to hospital. <br /> <br />All the other injured are in stable condition. <br /> <br />The traffic on the expressway has resumed.
