WASHINGTON, D.C. — Video footage posted on Twitter shows a Washington, D.C cop manhandling woman who he accused of being a prostitute. However, she said she was a school teacher. <br /> <br />Twitter users were appalled at the footage, which shows the officer pinning a woman to his police vehicle in a manner that her legs dangled helplessly in the air. <br /> <br />The woman said she was 32 years old and a school teacher. After a little discussion, the officer and his partner then seem apologetic, and even hand the woman her textbook when she drops it on the ground. <br /> <br />The woman was ultimately not arrested. <br /> <br />Afterward, the woman, identified only as Shadon, said, “Either way you look at it, it’s harassment. I’m a schoolteacher, I work out here and I help these little girls all day, every day so there’s no reason for you to assume that somebody out here doing the wrong thing.” <br /> <br />Police are currently investigating the incident.
