Full time photographer, part time mountaineer Kyaw Thar is displaying photographs of a gruelling solo journey to the peaks of northern Kachin State’s highest mountains.<br /><br />Between april and may Kyaw Tha summited Phongkan, Phongyen and Phongram – each over 10,000ft high.<br /><br />Kyaw Thar’s collection of over one hundred photographs takes in the lush pine forests of the Himalayan foothills, as well as the stunning white abyss atop Burma’s highest mountains.
