Nay Myo Zin was rushed to Rangoon General Hospital on Tuesday for an emergency MRI scan.<br /><br />The tests followed an appearance in Dagon township court where he, alongside six others, are defending charges including defaming the state.<br /><br />The military general turned social worker says that until Tuesday he had been blocked from accessing outside medical assistance, despite not being able to stand due to a deteriorating back condition.
