16 heads of UN agencies in Palestine have issued a report marking two years since a cease-fire ended hostilities between Israel and the Palestinian militant groups in Gaza on august 26, 2014. the report called for "the uninterrupted and greater flow of material, and increased funding to address the humanitarian needs for about 1.9 million residents." in the blockaded territory.
