Facebook said Monday that it is planning for communities to be able to trigger its “safety check” function instead of the social media giant having sole control over it during a disaster, reinforcing its stance that it is merely a platform.<br />When asked will users be able to activate it on their own, perhaps to alert other people Zuckerberg said: "Yes, it is.<br />We're working on that already."
