Novak Djokovic ended British hope Kyle Edmund’s run at the US Open last night, beating him in straight sets to go through to the quarter-finals.<br />Despite battling an arm injury once again, Djokovic prevailed 6-2 6-1 6-4 at Arthur Ashe Stadium.<br />Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal suffered yet another embarrassing defeat, crashing out of the tournament to Lucas Pouille in five sets.<br />The world no.25 defeated the Spaniard 6-1 2-6 6-4 3-6 7-6 (8-6), to leave the 14-time grand slam winner to debate over what had let him down this time.
