Footage has emerged from China of police officers rescuing an elderly man trapped in wet sand. <br /><br />The video, captured in Nantong, Jiangsu Province last Friday, shows police working their way towards the 63-year-old man, who appears to be sinking.<br /><br />He had apparently gone out on the sand when the tide was out at night to catch some shrimps and crabs in order to earn some extra money. <br /><br />Unfortunately, he got stuck and used a bucket to prop himself up all night. <br /><br />After 12 hours of being trapped, a digger managed to pull the man out of his predicament.
