<br /> <p>A video posted to Ariel Gonzalez’s YouTube channel</a> on August 29, shared the story of how his new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had apparently caught fire.</p><br /><p>He claimed that he only had the phone, which was “not even two weeks old,” charging for a short period of time before he went to class, and that he was using its original charger. Storyful had reached out to Gonzalez for more information.</p><p>The burn to his phone looks similar to the damage done to other Note 7s reported to have exploded in Korea</a>.</p><br /><p>A Reuters report</a> states that Samsung had delayed shipments for quality control testing, and that shipments to South Korea’s top three mobile carriers had been halted.
