Le groupe de hip hop, soul, électro Gnarls Barkley se forme en 2005. Il se compose du producteur Danger Mouse et du rappeur Cee-lo. Avant de se lancer dans cette aventure en commun, les deux acolytes s’étaient déjà illustrés chacun de leur côté. Le premier ayant participé à l’album The Mouse And The Mask avec le rappeur MF Doom et le second ayant fait partie du groupe Goodie Mobb.
