Footage a kangaroo swimming to safety after an Australian town flooded. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Hamilton, Victoria earlier this week, shows the marsupial paddling away in an attempt to reach dry land. <br /><br />"We spotted this kangaroo caught in floodwaters in our town," the filmer later wrote online. <br /><br />"He struggled while caught in the current but managed to swim over to where we were and finally to safety."<br /><br />"Amazingly strong swimmer and a very different view of a kangaroo in action in Australia," he continued.
