Golf's Arnold Palmer dies at 87

US sport’s legend Arnold Palmer, regarded as one of golf’s greatest players, has died at the age of 87. <br /><br /> Fondly known as the King, Palmer won more than 90 international tournaments, including seven majors. <br /><br /> The sporting great is credited along with his fellow American Jack Nicklaus, of attracting thousands of fans to the game.<br /><br /> Tributes to Palmer flooded in from the world of golf. Both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy took to tweeter to pay their respects. <br /><br /> Thanks Arnold for your friendship, counsel and a lot of laughs.
