MULTAN, PAKISTAN — A man was killed and at least 12 people were injured when a ride fell apart at an amusement park on September 15 in the Punjab region. <br /> <br />The accident occurred on a swing ride at Jinnah Park. The ride can hold two rows of people. <br /> <br />Video posted by Samma TV appears to show the ride full of people. <br /> <br />As the riders were spinning around, it appears that a seatbelt malfunction caused one male rider to be thrown from his seat. <br /> <br />In the video, he is seen flying from his seat, as he lands on the hard concrete directly in front of a ride operator. <br /> <br />The injured were transported to a nearby hospital, where the man later succumbed to his injuries. <br /> <br />Police arrested the contractor as well as the ride operator.
