The Netherlands won the first ever World Street 3s Championship on Sunday (September 25) after they beat Denmark 4-2 in the final. <br /> <br />The tournament, hosted in Manchester as part of the Soccerex Football Festival, brought together teams from eight nations - the Netherlands, Denmark, England, Croatia, France, Netherlands, Italy and the United States. <br /> <br />England, Belgium, Italy and the U.S. were knocked out in the playoffs meaning Croatia played the Netherlands and France faced Denmark in the semi-finals. <br /> <br />The Dutch ultimately proved to be the best team, scoring 25 goals throughout the tournament. <br /> <br />Denmark's Jacob Corneliusen was given the Fair Player Award for being the player who displayed the best tricks and technique skills during the tournament.
