Footage of a ten-year-old girl being surprised by her mum with a puppy on her birthday. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Auckland, New Zealand on September 13, shows the girl coming into her bedroom to find the cute dog waiting for her. <br /><br />Her reaction if priceless and full of emotion. <br /><br />"This video has been years in the making," the girl's mother wrote online. <br /><br />"My daughter has wanted a lil puppy since she was five years old but I said that I wouldn't get one for her until she was ready for the responsibility.<br /><br />"I said maybe when you turn ten we will see [and] this year was her tenth birthday and I knew she was ready for her lil dream to come true," she continued. <br /><br />"She has been puppy/dog/animal crazy from a young age and has waited so long that I knew she would be the happiest little girl in the world the day she got one.<br /><br />"I decided to keep it a secret and have one waiting for her when she got home from school as I knew how big of a moment it would be I thought I'd capture it on camera. <br /><br />"To see my daughter cry happy tears of joy for a puppy she had longed for for a long time was worth all the waiting. <br /><br />"As a mother, there's nothing more satisfying than to make their dreams come true is something that makes me so happy, and I'd love to share it with the world."
