Dramatic footage has emerged from Dubai of a skydiver spinning out of control as he leaves the aircraft above the famous Palm Island resort in Dubai. <br /><br />The video, filmed two years ago, shows Ernesto Gainza's parachute malfunctioning, spinning him around and catching his arm between the wires, meaning he couldn't perform the standard emergency procedure. <br /><br />According to the filmer, because the skydiver was turning so fast the G-force nearly rendered him unconscious but, fortunately, he eventually managed to straighten out the chute using his left arm only. <br /><br />"After releasing the parachute Ernesto experienced 3 seconds of black out before regaining sight and opening his emergency parachute," he wrote online. <br /><br />Ernesto holds the current Guinness World Record for landing the world's smallest and fastest parachute.
