The Falcons just lost three OTA practice sessions.<br />On Thursday, the NFL imposed the penalty because it determined the team violated league rules this past May.<br />The penalty will be enforced in 2017.<br />Atlanta participated in practices that featured "excessive levels of on-field physical contact," which are banned in the collective bargaining agreement.
