Shocking footage has emerged from China of doctors removing a 10 cm long parasite from a young boy's head. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province last Friday, shows the surgeons performing the operation to remove the creature from the nine-year-old's head. <br /><br />According to local reports, the boy suddenly started speaking with a lisp and kept getting cramps so he was immediately taken to hospital. <br /><br />He reportedly caught the parasite after drinking unclean water, without boiling it. <br /><br />The parasite has since been removed and the boy is reportedly recovering.
