Footage of a lioness leaping into the air to attack an eagle which was apparently swooping down in an attempt to snatch one of the lion cubs nearby. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Kenya, shows the lioness spring into action as the eagle appears off screen. <br /><br />According to the filmer, she successfully managed to thwart the bird's attempts to grab one her young cubs.
