Unusual footage has emerged from the UK of a man standing on the tracks in front of a train in a bizarre protest over a rail ticket. <br /><br />The video, captured at Hatfield Station, Hertfordshire on Tuesday, shows the man walking out onto the tracks and holding up the train, provoking outrage from train passengers.<br /><br />According to local reports, the incident - which occurred at around 5pm - caused initial delays of around 45 minutes, with residual delays lasting until the end of the day.<br /><br />"'Some geezer has actually run on the train tracks and standing in front of trains all coz he can't afford his train fare," the filmer wrote online.<br /><br />"All this over a train fare," he added. <br /><br />British Transport Police said they responded to reports of a man on the train tracks.<br /><br />They also confirmed that officers detained the man and took him to hospital.
