Amusing footage has emerged from China of a BMW driver being rescued from his submerged car after he accidentally pressed the accelerator and ended up speeding into a river. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province on Wednesday, shows a man, speaking on the phone, climbing out of his sunroof and being rescued by an elderly man with a boat. <br /><br />According to local reports, the unlucky driver's shoelace got caught around the accelerator pedal, and the car ploughed into the water. <br /><br />Fortunately, he wasn't injured and, by all accounts, remained relatively calm.
