CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO — A 15-year-old teenager was shot in the head and killed during a robbery last Friday. <br /> <br />Sunny Patel was gunned down when an armed suspect rushed into the Mr. Hero restaurant around 8 p.m. on South Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights, News 5 reported. <br /> <br />Authorities say the suspect shot the teen once in the head, demanded money and then fled the scene. <br /> <br />Patel was rushed to University Hospitals where he died around 11 p.m., according to his family. <br /> <br />Surveillance photos released by officials show the suspect wearing gray sweatpants, a black Nike hoodie, a white bandana over his face and sunglasses. <br /> <br />Ravi Patel, Patel’s father, said Sunny wasn’t a worker at the store. He was just helping his aunt and uncle, who own the restaurant, out for the night. <br /> <br />Patel was only a sophomore at Mayfield Heights High School. <br /> <br />Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the shooter.
