HOUSTON — A weird man tried to abduct a baby at an H-Mart in Houston, Texas earlier this month. <br /> <br />The incident took place on Oct. 15, when mom Florence Monauer was shopping for groceries, while her 14-month-old daughter sat in a shopping cart beside her. <br /> <br />Surveillance footage shows an unidentified man trying to take the baby girl from the cart while Monauer was not looking. <br /> <br />The baby was sitting in a seat cover strapped to the shopping cart, therefore the man couldn’t take her out easily, and Monauer noticed his actions. <br /> <br />Monauer calmly took the baby back, and the man left after tickling the child’s tummy. <br /> <br />Houston police are looking at the case as a possible attempted abduction, according to ABC affiliate KTRK. However, the man has not been identified or charged.
