Justin Timberlake could go to jail for 30 days for taking a selfie in a voting booth.<br />On Monday, the singer traveled to his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, to take advantage of early voting.<br />Last year, Tennessee passed a law forbidding voters from using their phones to make calls, take photos or shoot video while inside a polling location, according to a report from TNReport.<br />Voters can use phones, but only for “informational purposes to assist the voter in making election decisions.”<br />According to TMZ, the Shelby County District Attorney is looking into the photo.<br />If prosecuted, the singer could face 30 days in jail and a $50 fine, though no one has been in the past.
