Second earthquake rocks Italy hours after 6.4 magnitude tremor hits Rome

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Central Italy on Wednesday, the second of the evening whose tremors were felt as far away as the capital Rome.<br />Some buildings have collapsed, a motorway has been closed and many people in the countryside were plunged into darkness as the power was knocked out, but there have been no reports of casualties.<br />Wednesday’s earthquake caused further damage to already precarious structures in Amatrice, the town worst hit by the 6.2-magnitude tremor in August, officials said.
