<br /> <p>A mysterious Celtic cross appeared in the middle of a Donegal forest during October, and was first noticed by airline passengers flying into Derry.</p><p>According to reporting</a> by the Irish Post, the cross at Bogay Hill was planted by forester Liam Emmery, who created the effect using two different types of trees.</p><br /><p>Emmery died six years before the cross was discovered, and his wife told UTV</a> that she had forgotten about the plantation.</p><br /><p>“If he was here, we would have all heard about it because he would have been so proud,” Mrs Emmery said. “He just loved things to be perfect,” she said, “And I think the Celtic Cross is perfect for him.” Credit: Darren Sheaffer</p><br />
