Eliott Pain is a former French guitarist, age 27, who became an independent producer of electronic music. His music is strongly marked by electric guitars and very rock-like acoustic drum rhythms, but always mixed with electronic beats and sounds, without falling into the jumpiness of electro-punk. <br /><br />Eliott Pain constantly tries to find a compromise between his rock influences (Queens Of The Stone Age, Nirvana, Soundgarden) and his electronic bent (Fischerspooner, Adult, Daft Punk, Soulwax...). <br /><br />This gave rise to his first release, "Electro vs Rock (I Love Rock)", in which two synthesized voices clash, each defending a musical style, in the text: "digital effects and synthesizers" versus "electric guitars and amplifiers". <br /><br />This is a work of musical research also graphically rendered by a sort of heroic quest for a dead-head robot character with a Flying V guitar strung across his shoulders...
