As clown fears and hysteria grip America, clowns are finding themselves banned from participating in Halloween festivities. <br /> <br /> <br />Stores have pulled clown masks from their shelves. School districts, counties and festival organizers are banning clown costumes. You can’t even wear a fake red nose in public without being stopped and harassed in public. <br /> <br /> <br />How did America find itself in such a pitiful state? How did America become so afraid? As the saying goes: you can judge a country by the way it treats its clowns.
