Shocking footage has emerged from China of a young girl being carried to an ambulance after doctors were forced to amputate her legs to free from under a rock she got trapped under during a landslide. <br /><br />The heartbreaking video, filmed in Ankang, Shaanxi Province last Wednesday, initially shows firefighters and doctors trying to free the four-year-old, but they can't free her broken legs from under the rock, meaning they were forced to take her legs. <br /><br />According to local reports, the girl and her mother were caught in the landslide and were both injured by the tumbling rock. <br /><br />The mother was freed relatively quickly, but her daughter was trapped with two badly broken legs. <br /><br />The decision was made to amputate by doctors when it was established that nothing more could be done to free the girl. <br /><br />Both are now in hospital.
