WASHINGTON — With just over a week to go until the U.S. election on Nov. 8, Federal investigators last Friday announced the existence of new emails related to Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private server. <br /> <br />The New York Times reports that the emails were discovered during an investigation into Anthony Weiner’s illicit messages to an underage girl. <br /> <br />On Oct. 3, the agency executed a search warrant to examine Weiner’s iPhone, iPad and laptop. It was in the laptop — which the former Congressman shared with ex-wife and Clinton aide Huma Abedin — that agents found the emails. <br /> <br />FBI officials have since obtained a search warrant to review the emails pertaining to the Democratic Presidential candidate and will investigate whether they contained classified information. <br /> <br />It remains unclear how long the review process will take, but it will likely go beyond election day.
