Footage has emerged from China of a wild panda being rescued after it fell into a hydroelectric power station.<br /><br />The video, captured in Sichuan Province on Tuesday, shows the stricken female panda in the water, attempting to climb back onto dry land. <br /><br />A separate clip then shows a group of people using equipment in an attempt to hoist the panda off the dam. <br /><br />According to local reports, the animal got into trouble while trying to cross the power station and fell into the river below. <br /><br />Police tranquilised her and, after three hours, the group of rescuers were able to release her back into the wild successfully.
