Theo Epstein was voted as the Sporting News Major League Baseball Executive of the Year following the Cubs' championship win.<br />The Cubs led with 103 wins during the regular season, before beating Cleveland in the World Series last week, earning the championship title for the first time since 1908.<br />"For the last few years I've had a semi-recurring dream, maybe five or six times, where I've woken up, wow, we just won the World Series with the Cubs.<br />That's unbelievable," Epstein said Monday night.
