President-elect Donald Trump has asked his running mate, Mike Pence, to take over the transition team efforts from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.<br />The New York Times, which first reported Pence's new title, said Trump "told advisers he wanted to tap Mr. Pence’s Washington experience and contacts to help move the process along."<br />Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Christie have been named as vice chairs of the transition team.
