<br /> <p>More than 21,000 homes were without electricity in Mildura on November 11 after a lightning storm ripped through the region knocking out trees and power lines. According to an ABC report</a>, emergency workers received more than 200 calls for help.</p><p>The storms hit the region about 7:45 pm, continued throughout the night and pelted the area with powerful winds, hail storms, and thunder. According to the SES</a>, Mildura was one of the worst hit areas, with reports of a mini-tornado sweeping through the region and damaging buildings.</p><br /><p>This video, taken by Mildura woman Alicia Oosting, shows the lightning crashing from her backyard.
