Hate crimes against black people and Muslims rose in 2015 according to the FBI's Uniform Crime Report, released on Monday.<br />More the 5,800 hate crimes occurred in 2015, up from 5,479 in 2014.<br />The amount of hate crimes against Muslims also rose 67% between the two years.<br />In more than 59% of bias-related crimes, victims were targeted for their race, ethnicity or religion.<br />The data also shows that at least 48% of the known offenders were white.
