12 arrests in Budapest and 7 other sites<br /><br /> Weapons and explosives seized<br /><br /> Founder of far-right organisation arrested last month over death of police officer<br /><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /><br /> 12 people have been arrested in a series of counter-terrorism raids in northern Hungary.<br /><br /> The national police say the raids, which were ordered by the counter-terrorism force TEK, also netted automatic weapons, handguns and explosives.<br /><br /> Officers swooped early on Tuesday morning in the capital, Budapest, Mosonmagyarovar, near the border with Austria, Vac and five other locations.<br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /><br /> The Hungarian National Frontline<br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /><br /> All 12 suspects are believed to be connected to the Hungarian National Frontline.<br /><br /> The founder of the far-right organisation is suspected of involvement in last month’s killing of a police officer in the village of Bony near the western city of Gyor.<br /><br /> 11 were arrested on suspicion of violence against members of a community and possession of illegal firearms.<br />
