The US men's national soccer team lost 4-0 in Costa Rica last night in a world cup qualifier.<br />The last time the US lost a WCQ 4-0 was in 1980.<br />Three goals in a ten minute span in the second half, including two from Arsenal-loanee Joel Campbell, doomed the USMNT.<br />This marks back-to-back defeats for the US in world cup qualifying after losing 2-1 to Mexico on Friday.<br />“A very, very bitter moment for us — there’s no doubt about it.<br />We didn’t imagine to go into the hexagonal with two defeats right in the beginning.<br />We knew it was going to be very difficult playing Mexico and Costa Rica in the first two games, but obviously you want some points."<br />Klinnsman is now in jeopardy of losing his job, with critics and pundits alike calling for his tenure to end.
