<br /> <p>Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano emitted a dense column of ash and smoke on the morning of Friday, November 25, starling observers.</p><p>The National Center for Disaster Prevention</a> recorded 324 outbursts with steam and gas emission and a small amount of ash from the volcano in the last 24 hours.</p><br /><p>Popocatepetl, the second highest peak in Mexico, is one of 1,500 active volcanoes worldwide.
