Thousands of protesters have hit the streets of Rome, Italy to protest against constitutional reforms. <br /><br />The protesters gathered in the capital yesterday at the Piazza della Repubblica, carrying banners condemning the proposed reforms of prime minister Matteo Renzi.<br /><br />If approved, the reforms put forward by the government would reduce the size and rights of the Senate and take back some of the powers held by Italy's regional governments. <br /><br />Banners held by the demonstrators read "No" and "Renzi get out" while the protesters were met by rows of riot police
