Shocking footage has emerged from China of an out-of-control scooter crashing into an elderly man, causing severe injuries. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Jincheng, Shanxi Province on November 20, shows the driver suddenly falling off the vehicle at a cross roads when the accelerator appears to get jammed. <br /><br />The scooter then speeds across the junction into a man on the other side, knocking him to the floor. <br /><br />The elderly man was badly injured, but police were able to get him to hospital quickly and he is now reportedly recovering.
