A confused monkey tries to scratch the SPOTS off a dalmatian in this adorable video. <br /> <br />Pepe La Pew, a vervet monkey from Zimbabwe, made an unlikely friend in pooch Indigo, who patiently waits while Pepe La Pew gives him a rub. <br /> <br />The rescue monkey is in awe of Indigo's black spots, but also plays with the dog's tail and climbs over him when he's sleeping. <br /> <br />Baye Pigors, who founded the Free to be Wild Primate sanctuary where Pepe lives, said Indigo is the 'perfect surrogate mother'. <br /> <br />The 25-year-old said: "Indigo has grown up with all kinds of wild animals and loves to look after the babies, she is the perfect surrogate mother.
