Footage has emerged from northern China of soldiers clearing a road in the wake of a "freezing rain storm."<br /><br />The video, filmed in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Monday, shows the military personnel breaking the ice of the road to make it safe again. <br /><br />The highway was described in local media as a "skating rink", and the icy storm caused widespread traffic problems.
