A passenger plane with more than 40 people on board in Pakistan has reportedly crashed on its way to Islamabad from the northern city of Chitral.<br /><br /> Pakistan International Airlines has said in a statement that Flight PK-661 lost contact with air traffic controllers on Wednesday afternoon local time.<br /><br /> A senior police official in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province told Reuters that the plane had come down near the town of Havelian and rescuers were on their way to the scene.<br />
