A day ago, it had been reported that Hafeez Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 terror attacks, has moved a court in Pakistan to seek a ban on the release of Kabir Khan’s upcoming film ‘Phantom’ in Pakistan.<br /><br />Today, at a press conference, director Kabir Khan candidly said, “I am aware that whenever a film with a political backdrop comes up, such issues happen. Films like 'Agent Vinod' and 'Bangistan' had faced a ban in Pakistan. But what we are really amused about is that a wanted terrorist is accusing us of spreading poison through this film!”<br /><br />Lahore High Court Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan heard Saeed's petition and asked the Central Censor Board and the Government to furnish a reply on Saeed's petition during the next hearing on 13 August.<br /><br />Based on former crime reporter Hussain Zaidi's novel ‘Mumbai Avengers’, 'Phantom', starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set in the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and deals with global terrorism.
