Little Afghani Boy Loves His Idol Lionel Messi Too Much <br />Murtaza Ahmadi, who captured the hearts of football fans from around the world after wearing the jersey made from a plastic bag, was picked up by the Barcelona star in Qatar <br /> <br />An Afghan boy who captured the hearts of football fans around the world after wearing a homemade Lionel Messi shirt has finally met his hero. <br /> <br />Murtaza Ahmadi, six, was photographed wearing a jersey made from a plastic bag bearing Messi's name and number 10. <br /> <br />The child received a signed Barcelona shirt from Messi but, on Tuesday, the two met in Doha in partnership with Qatar's 2022 World Cup Supreme Committee. <br />"The image the world wanted to see," the Supreme Committee tweeted. "The six-year-old boy who dreamed of meeting his hero, #Messi, finally comes true." <br /> <br />Barcelona are currently in Qatar to play a friendly against Al Ahli on Tuesday and it's reported that Murtaza will walk out on to the pitch with Messi.
